Our thoughts and prayers are with the Crump family with the loss of Mervin Crump, Sr.
Mervin M. Crump Sr. passed away on June 13, 2017 at OLOL in Baton Rouge, LA at the age of 65 yrs. He was born in Maringouin, LA to the late Emanuel and Pauline Ventress Crump and he was the beloved husband of Deborah Williams Crump. He lived in New Orleans for over 35 years until Hurricane Katrina when he moved to Baton Rouge, LA. Mervin not only enjoyed sports, he had a zest for life, a quest and a thirst for knowledge and was an avid reader throughout the years. Mervin leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Deborah, his sons, Stephen (Natasha), Mervin Jr. and Jeremi of Baton Rouge and Alama (Heather, 3 grandchildren) of Fernly, NV. Sisters, Maxine Crump, Michelle Harrington (Eric), Peggy Dunn (Russell) and brothers Eugene (Eva), Emanuel II and Nathaniel (Wanda). Also, beloved special friend Shaleyah Grant (Jeremi). He will be greatly missed by his in-laws, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation A. Wesley’s Funeral Home 10810 Ventress Dr. Maringouin Friday June 23,2017 2pm until 6pm. Services will be on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Unitarian Church of Baton Rouge, 8470 Goodwood Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA. Visitation from 1pm until services at 3pm. Professional Services entrusted to A.
